Being Depressed doesn’t make you a freak , you should try to be flexible and receptive. Listen to your instincts and believe there is light at the end of the tunnel and you will be able to persevere, take action or get over it. Be honest with yourself and open to suggestion. Trust in your own ability to demonstrate patience and hang in there; courage, determination and action — not words — can help you more effectively influence and deal with the demands of daily life , just “DO IT” , just get up and do it , that will make you feel Motivated , make a list and do it ….
Nothing is qrong. It is the occasionaly apathy. It ll pass as long as you busy yourself with something that you enjoy to do, wheather its fishing, crafts, baby-sitting, music etc.
I had this problem still do!
this is the time where you have to reset your goals! if they are not motivating you then they are not close enought to your values in life!!! sounds a little weird at times and can be well i know what i want!
but if your not motiviated to get what you want then it’s time to double check those goals!
i do mine at least 4 times a year more so for the yearly goals! what i wanted in the winter does not apply in the summer! weird how that works! that or females do just change there minds way to much!! lol
if you really want to step out of your comfort zone then take 1 or 2 educated risk every week! force yourself to do this and it will excite you!
at least that is what works for me ! such a rush to do something you would normally not do!
for example i’m a pretty timid human i am afraid to ask for a raise however i did 2 weeks ago! WOW i got it! but the rush i got for asking.. crazy!
I don’t do risk as much as i would like but i’m in the process of taking that risk as well to move up in my current posistion! almost like a new job exciting!
I normally don’t draw humans however i’m doing it now! hard it is but it’s challanging me and that well is fun! but becare when you challange yourself sometimes you can back off of it and get in the same rut you where in!
BTW your just in a rut!
go over what you really want out of life and ensure they are close to your life mission and values!
Best wishes~!
it is the summertime blues? would rather be outside doing nothing …..
yeah I know what you mean
if this is something new for you its probably just a phase and to pass the time till you get out of it volunteer for a cause you feel strongly about, or take some hobbies, set small goals like going to the gym for 30min today
If this is something you truly want to get over I think behavioral therapy would be best in your case you have to behave the way you want to be and eventually your brain will catch up (no one said it would be easy but it does work)
I know that feeling – it’s as if life is steppinjg over you. It could easily lead to depression if you dont do something.
Take time off work to rethink your life and what it is exactly that you want to do with it. While you’re at it, get some sleep.
The answers above may be correct. But it could also be physical. I was very tired when my thyroids were not functioning right. It could be diet, and vitimins may be necessary. It could also be a form of low grade depression that you do not recognize.
I hope you find the problem, Love. Good Luck!!
