My Life Partner Passed Away Recently.. How Do I Keep Strong To Follow The Dreams And Goals We’ve Set Together?

He passed away from cancer just two weeks ago. Feb 14 would have been our 8th anniversary… It was very painful for me to see him pass away and I have our dreams still left to fulfill. One of his last wishes was to spread some of his ashes all over the world…

As a cancer survivor allow me to give you my condolences on your loss. You already show a great strength by standing by your standing with him until the end. You have to decide what is next for you. Keep him alive in your heart and know that none of this was your fault.
You need to know that eventually some of the dreams you shared will come to an end, but not all. And with that is where you should make your stand. If he wanted his ashes spread all across the world it’s a bit unreasonable financially, however, if you are creative you can do it. Consider the message in a bottle scenario. Spread some from a mountain top in the wind. Put a little in a stream that takes it to the ocean. Send some to a trusted friend overseas to do the same.
I’m sad for you and wish you all the best for a happy future.

Try very hard to remember that you have also been gifted with a “spark of the Divine”, just like him. If he could see you now, would he be happy with you moping? I seriously doubt it.
Lots of people who have lost find that when they help others, they feel less apart from their love. What can it hurt to try? You could feel worse?!
Best Wishes for 2008!

Sorry for your loss. Just get through each day. To keep the goals you both made sometimes takes time and more effort because the other is not their to support you. If it was his wish then do the best you can. Because love does not end when someone passes on. It continues. It reflects in our lives and how we live it. Make it a journey. Keep a journal of that time. Talk to you life partner. Even though he is no longer there in the the flesh. He will be there in spirit. Find a quiet place and just listen. Listen with your heart. Listen with your soul… We are only in this world for a short time before we journey home also. Find peace. and reflect on the wonderful times you had. Remember them… Find comfort in them. Then move forward. Live for him. Live for what you dreamed together. Make your journey…..

I am so sorry for your loss. Your partners wish is exactly the same as mine. I’ve even discussed it with my family. Take it one day at a time.
