You think too much and have too much on your plate. I know that you only live once…but are ya trying to live for other people too? Take a break, eliminate.
lol… mate your fucked …just like the rest of us.
oh man. You are way ahead of me. You go first. If I recover, I’ll try to help you. Hang in there and have a good life. Sounds like movie “Animal House.”
Work, parent and health are top because they must be taken care of.
Get the small stuff knocked out. Clean the car, the house and spray for bugs. That should get you space to study by default.
Get the classes finished. The LSAT will do no good if grades are too poor for a college to take you. Put the LSAT to the back of the list.
I would put buying the house toward the back of the list unless it is needed or you are getting a great deal or something.
Don’t panic – that’s the first step
Don’t be ambitious – that’s the second step’
Don’t performed to get approval – that’s the third,
Just take your time and enjoy whatever you find your hands to do and do it- one at a time.
Just accept the result if you cannot finsihed it in time – just bear the responsiblity.
Just learn to moves and acts in your own timing and not that dictated by others – Can you live with the consequences ?
If you can you won’t fail as you are center and move in your own time and space and nothing other do can change that.
Take a lesson from the Flower that’s budding – can you hasten it by pulling and helping the flower buds faster ?
Nope ! So why don’t you do the same ?
look, make a list 1-11 and put them in order in how important they are, then next to them put the time you have to do them and how long it will take you to do each thing. then when you wake you won’t have to be thinking what do i do now or what do I do next or anything like that. It is easy to do this so don’t think you are helpless.
Take the advice of the other and if you are religous tell God to take some of the things off your hands for he doesn’t put more on your plate then you can’t handle. Breath and pray for him to alleiviate your anxiety trust me you’ll feel better pray to anything not just God if you are not religous. Get it all out tell him or whatever you pray to what you’re going through and have him lead you to what you needa do take one thing at a time buddy.
It sounds like you are feeling overwhelmed! You have a lot going on in your life and you are to be commended for taking on the role of a family caregiver–which can be a big challenge even under the best of circumstances!
Everyone needs a friendly ear and a little help from time-to-time! In the United States there is a network of organizations called Area Agencies on Aging. These groups assist people who are age 60 or over and their caregivers. There is an Area Agency on Aging serving every community in the United States and in U.S. territories. These folks know about different services and organizations that might be able to help or support you as a caregiver in your situation. Area Agency staff members are good listeners and would certainly be able to offer other helpful advice and information that may be of great benefit to you and your parent.
You can call toll-free 1-800-677-1116 to find the contact information for the specific Area Agency on Aging where you live that can help you get the information you need. Call the Area Agency on Aging and ask to speak with the staff person who handles “Information or Assistance” or the “Help for Family Caregivers.” You should tell this person about your situation. The Area Agency will know what your next steps might be If they do not know, they will know who to connect with to help you sort through your situation and identify some possible options that might be helpful. If they can’t help for some reason, they will know others who may be able to listen and to help.
You should know that Area Agencies on Aging aren’t selling any particular product, service or “insurance plan.” The information you will receive will be objective. You will likely learn about information and services that may help some of your older friends and neighbors, too.
My advice: Thank God for the blessings you have and ask God for some Divine help, remain calm, identify your top priority after taking care of yourself and your parent. Start the process of taking back some control by tackling something small that you can feel good about completing–which might be making a connection with the Area Agency on Aging.
I hope this helps. Best wishes and good luck to you and your family!
