Provide an example of an incident in your professional career or personal life that was a positive stressor (or eustress) for you (i.e. job promotion, buying a house, parenthood, etc.). What happened and why? What stress management techniques or strategies did you use to deal with the situation? Reflect on the situation. Based on what you know now (including information from this unit), what would you have done differently and why?

I lived in a close knit family so when my guy got a transfer and we moved to the opposite coast; I guess that could be considered good and bad stress.
I learned (through what I called a baptism of fire) to accomplish things, that before I would have turned to my folks or my guy for help so during that 6 years period I gained more self worth.
No, I wouldn’t have done a thing differently it helped me understand my capabilities without being reflected or criticized by my folks, it was a real apron string breaker
