I used to be a very fit and athletic stud. But over the last year or so I gained about 70 pounds. Part of the reason is I couldn’t exercise due to a 4 month long hamstring injury and other part laziness and no motivation to push myself and eat healthy. I love working out with weights and running but I also eat everything in sight. How do I get the motivation I once had?

Hello everyone,
This is my second child to be I have one 7 year old daughter. I know I should have picked better but I didn’t and I would like to know how to keep myself happy, it’s been 7 years and I have forgotten how to keep peace within myself and for my daughter she is the best thing in my life right now and I don’t want her to be sad. I use to be such a happy laidback person that could talk to anyone and make it interesting. I just finished my first year of college and my self-esteem from a year ago has sunken and I feel like now I’m too self-conscious and boring. How do I pull myself out of this and regain my confidence?

Even if it was a few days ago, it’s still affecting her (perfectly understandable.) But how do I make her happy again, and make things go back to the way they were? I love her so much.
