Everyone says attitude is everything, and I agree, but how long can you keep it up? There are probably thousands and thousands of self-help books out there ranging from weight-loss to stress management to how to work better, love better, live better, and everything inbetween. Often, people will read through these books, and then go on about their lives as usual, with nothing having changed. I am curious to know if anyone has ever experienced a change in their life that resulted from reading/applying information from a self-help book. What book was it? Tell me about your experience.

I have just been informed that my position has been eliminated. I know I should be devastated because we are right in the middle of the holidays and not to mention my survival. I feel like a load has been lifted off my shoulders although I don’t know what my next move will be. Has anyone ever had an experience like this? I cannot believe that I happy when I think I should be sad.
