Are there anger management programs for kids?
I know a 10 year old who is going through a lot right now. She is becoming increasingly angry, destructive, and now violent. She’s in therapy (I dont think this person is helping) but she needs something specific to help her address this anger.

I have 2 kids and they usually do 2 activities, each, from Sept to May. This year one of my daughters wants to add an additional activity to her evenings, but I think it may be just *too much* for a 6 year old (she’ll be 6 soon).
How many do your child do at a time and how well does that work?

With something like that, its more about modeling the proper ways to react in frustrating situations. As long as you have effective ways of dealing with anger, teach them your techniques, chances are they’re already paying attention anyways and have caught on to whatever it is that you do to calm down. If you don’t have healthy anger habits, I’d suggest changing them… because children get a lot more from their parents than just genetics.
