I just can’t seem to get a grip! I have many things to accomplish in life. And though I have them sorted and organized on paper, I just can’t seem to stay committed. I am always dropping the ball….Advice anyone? What works for you?

I need help getting on with ordinary things in my life. I seem to have no problem getting on the computer, this is my escape. I would really appreciate any helpful hints to get me motivated to get my house cleaned and organized. On my days off, I seem to wake up with the good intentions about housework, then the thought fizzles away and another day off has been completely wasted. I hope someone can offer some suggestions, tips and even websites I can get further information from. Thanks!

Hi, I am a creative (typical Aries) person who tends to come up with a lot of ideas and start a lot of projects (mainly writing projects), but then I get bored and move on to the next project before I’ve finished the previous one. The only way I have ever finished anything was when a grade or deadline someone else set was involved, but I can’t be in school for the rest of my life. I’ve thought about writing a plan, but I’m so lazy I don’t think I’d ever start it much less finish it. What I’d like you to tell me is how you developed discipline/focus or overcome distractions/laziness and met your goals. Good and detailed ideas only-none of that “just do it!” crap or any other cliches. Thanks!

I’m in high school, Freshman almost sophomore.
I need help setting goals and most importantly, accomplishing them.
I can set goals, but i never go all the way though with them, for example, for the past 3 years in Track i told myself that i am going to be one of the top long-jumpers in the team, i said that i was gonna be one of the coaches pick because i try my best all the time during practices… I kept this in my mind for the first week or 2 and i felt really good, and i was doing really good. but then gradually i stopped trying until the point where i just sucked and didnt get any better, and if anything, got worse. I just gave up.
Well this summer i want that all to change, i want to be in great shape for this XC season and into Track. My goal is also to jump a 16 long jump. Right now i have that motivation as i always do when i start something new, but i am really worried that i am going to lose that, what can i do to prevent me from giving up?
