I tend to focus on other people’s live and not my own. I find it hard to talk about deep personal issues that are bothering me. I get hurt easily and offended by other’s comments.

I spend time wondering how other people’s lives are and do not focus on my own.

What is the best to set goals and then really focus on them and not look at other people’s lives and think about them so much?

Both self-improvement and the improvement of the world around you go hand in hand as they are effected by both. It is like a circle. I think that it is best to start out with what you feel is easiest. For me, self-improvment is a never-ending quest and I’m quite content with that. As I walk down this path of enlightenment, I feel that as I’m learning more about myself, I’m improving not only the inside of my being and outside, but also the world around me. My growth spawns more growth around those who I gather with. This, like a wildfire, spreads among the masses until it reaches back to me. A circle.

Hey i have a good site for you. It’s called Yahoo!Answers. Yep no joke you want to be sharper and improve? Try to help others improve too! I’m sure you have a dormant talent that needs to be awaken. Start answering as much as you can as throughout as you can.
Off course in a shorter term crosswords and puzzle can help. There are many of them on the web. Try “puzzle flash games” in google.
