I always felt like when ever i keep my reading of books, articles and other reading material of fiction and non fiction that i am able to comprehend things easier than when i don’t read on a regular basis.
Any one else ever notice this kind of self improvement from reading often?
Ramon b, just because something is beyond your intelligence does’nt mean you got to insult a question that can only get intelligent answers other than yours of course.

Ever since I started middle school, my self-esteem has been at an all time low. I am always self conscious about the way I look, and I am always afraid of what people think of me. This has caused me to be really shy and awkward. It is hard for me to make conversations with people I don’t really know, and it is also hard for me to make friends. I really want to be outgoing, but I feel like my shyness is holding me back. How can I improve my self-esteem and become more outgoing?

I have always had awful self-esteem. I think it is because I take the harsh comments and throw out the good ones. I get called ugly by a lot of guys in my class, but girls say I look pretty. What can I do to fix my self-esteem, as well as looks? I want to know, because if I feel comfortable in my skin, I would feel better about myself in general.

There are lots of things you can do to improve your positivity. I suggest affirmations, meditation, physical exercise, and remember that though life is not always perfect everything happens for a reason. Oh and sometimes even if you don’t really feel like smiling, it helps to do that…See if it helps.
There are many books by Doreen Virtue that I believe would be helpful to you also dear.
Good luck
