I always hear you speak about “love your neighbor as yourself”. Nice message really. And some of you even succeed at it.
However, do you ever listen to those neighbors? When simply reading in this R&S section, I don’t get the feeling that many neighbors actually FEEL loved by Christians. And shouldn’t love be also about that: the perception of the receiver of that love.
Could it be that if many minority goups like homosexuals, atheists, Pagans don’t have the feeling that you actually love them, that maybe your message of love could use a little updating?
Or maybe you should set your goals a little lower. Loving all your neighbors is obviously not working out. Maybe starting off with “Try at least to like your neighbor” or “Try to understand your neighbor” would be a better start?
