Absolutely! This is a great time to just stride along, dropping cares for the time being. It always gives me a ‘new’ outlook on life………..every time I take a fast walk. We just forget to breath deeply, in our regular lives. Taking that brisk walk, that little jog (or long one), just clears the cobwebs out of our brains, and allows us to have a positive attitude, and to feel better all over. Recent findings say that these brisk walks and jogs will lengthen out life times, as well. So, live longer and be happier while you do it! Take a walk!

I’m a salesperson. Lately, I haven’t been making money. Some of the people around me are very successful. Sometimes that makes me feel depressed, like I am a failure.(especially at Christmastime) I know I have to fight those feelings and develop a realistically positive, optimistic attitude to get things going again. What’s the best way to make myself feel like a winner again?

I am a groomsman in a wedding this week. The bride is a real insecure bit#@. I wish I could find better words, but that’s just the way it is. All the groomsman feel this way, the grooms father even made the statement “what did I do for my son to marry the devil” The bride has a 48 hour agenda that tells everyone where to be on the 15 minute mark. She has told us that not only is the groom unable to go on Saturday night (the night before the wedding), but so are we (the wedding party). She has the wedding getting up at 5:45 a.m Sunday morning for pictures. To top it all off, her registry was filled with personal items (items that only she could use). The grooms wedding party is driving over 14 hours to get to the wedding, and we feel like we are being corralled around being treated like second class citizens-not to mention this whole thing is costing us all a huge amount of cash. So basically, the wedding party is about to “blow a gasket”. The flip side to this coin is that the groom is a lifetime friend a regardless of how I feel about his bride to be, I still want him to have good day. So how do I regain a positive attitude for the wedding party and keep spirits high? Any suggestions would be most helpful.
