I broke my neck 5 years ago, and am struggling to re-capture my life. I used to run 5 miles every morning. Now I swim 3 days a week. This is really helping. My injuries limit me to a sidestroke, but I feel like I get a good work-out from it. But I don’t really know how to best use my pool time. I’m up to 45 minutes now, and figure that once I reach 60, I should increase intensity instead of time.
I’d appreciate guidance on using swimming to recover, especially some reasonable goals to make.
If I were able to run, I’d be aiming at 6 minute miles. I am not sure what to aim for in swimming.

What are some examples of companies that took a heavy blow because they didn’t meet the goals that they set for themselves?
I’m not talking about Enron or WorldCom. They failed because of fraudulent financial reporting. I’m looking for companies that didn’t meet their expected goals, and thus took a heavy blow because they lost the public’s trust.
