I have a hard time throwing things out… Books, Gifts, Newspapers, and old items that I’ll probably never use again. Why can’t I part with my houseful of clutter? I always think that I might need it someday. Help me find a way to get rid of all this clutter. What is going on in the deep recesses of my mind?

It might be my ADD or a sign that I just need to get more organized but I really flip out when I can’t find things. Is that just the stress of motherhood?

1. I need to apply for scholarships for next semester.
2. I need to budget better and stop blowing money on lunch
3. My taxes from last year!
4. Passport/Immigration stuff
5 Floss daily (I have braces and it takes like 15 mins)
6. Receipts to find and items to return to store
7. I am taking the LSAT in Feb, but I can change that, but I rather get it over with. Study time is about an hour a day.

On top of that I work 30 hours a week, take 11 credits in school, take care of my mom. The only TIME I have free is one day a week, and other days I work 2 – 9pm class in the morn.

I have a busy school life and often find that my bag, my locker and my binders get out of order pretty easy and i often don’t have a lot of time to fix them during school. what can i do to prevent things from getting so disorganized and causing me trouble?

Go through it all and sort it into four piles, the stuff you want, the stuff you can sell (somewhere like Ebay), the stuff you want to give to charity and the stuff fit for the bin. The get rid of the rubbish pile, take the charity stuff to a shop or collection centre. Sell the saleable pile and then sort and tidy the “to keep” pile. Even if you don’t get rid of much this should help.
