My little sister is 25. I love her, but she’s got some troubles. One of them is that she has absolutely no grip on her temper, and once it’s started it just snowballs. Are there any good techniques to suggest anger management to her? If I piss her off, she’ll reject the idea flatly. I’ve tried before, but she hears the word therapy and assumes I’m calling her crazy.
I worry about her, because she’s starting to go out to the real world (work, friends, extended family, etc.), and other people aren’t going to be as willing to put up with her behavior as my family has been. To be honest, I’m not sure how much longer my family is willing to put up with it either. Has anyone out there ever had to broach this subject to a loved one? Got any tips?
