lol! Not everyone is an unhappy nutbag but generally, how do you stay sane, happy and normal in a world that has lots of those other things in it?
I mean don’t those things seep in eventually or at least create a negative environment which can shape you to be worse, etc?
I’m sure it affects us all on some level, even subconsciously.

relation to yesterday? How can we know things are better unless we have some idea of what better is, metaphysics?
If so, what do we base improvment on?
How can we really say things are better then before, and not just different?
One can always find negative and positive aspects to any situation.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

I feel like there is so much ugliness, selfishness and BS in the world, that I just get so angry, depressed, and just affected by it, and sometimes I just feel like, why bother, people suck, I hate life, and it really just turns me into this nasty, angry, jaded, bitter, person.
Being that the world is how it is,…and most likely getting worse,
is there any way we can just..despite that, still get the most out of life and try to be more positive, or will our environment/world inevitably have an impact on us however small?
Most people are already being conditioned to be that way anyways, I see it all the time.
It’s hard, I mean I seriously get so desensitized, to the point where even when I hear about bad news, I think, so what big whoop or laugh because I think, that b9tch probably deserved it! haha. I start turning nasty myself, & lash out, and just treat others like total sh9t.
At the end of the day I just want to be happy and I don’t want to be this mean person towards others, but I see this world as a shitty place, and I’m sick of it, and I turn into this mean/nasty person because of it.
I also tried the “God” approach, but it’s so..completely extremist at times, and alot of the so called “god” people also let you down and aren’t really that great of help, it really depends. That path was just…wayyyyy too unrealistic and theyrre screaming “OMG THE END TIMES ARE HERE RIGHT NOW AAAAAAAAAAAAH” inducing fear in you, if you even believe in them; they lack the abilities to rationalize and see things from another point of view.
I tried the whole drug/therapy etc approach, which does work, being that you have great doctors, but …still, you walk out that office….and you re-enter the f’ed up world we live in, and eventually it sucks you back into its…..chaos.
Any advice? That is, if you’re not already gone yourself, lol.
