What Are Some Anger/stress Management Skills That Can Be Practiced On A Daily Basis?
I need help with directing my anger and frustration. I tend to let it all out at my mom, which is beyond horrible. Help?

Talk to yourself out loud when no one is around. Breath, relax, take hot showers or baths. Find a quiet place. Get a good nights sleep. Eat healthy. Pray. Enjoy your own thoughts when other people’s thoughts are negative, hateful, or angry. Stressed out about things happening over and over again? Concentrate on the silence in your mind then go about your business. Stay compassionate and safe this will help.
one way to to practice slow, deep breathing.
however, sometimes, when I find myself in a similar situation, I clench my fists so my finger nails dig into my palms. doesn’t do any damage but it certainly distracts me.
another thing I do is just try to look at a situation and try to see things from their point of view and try to tell myself “this person is just trying to __” whether it’s “pursue their goals” or “live their life” or “manage their own stress.”
Anyway, a few ideas… good luck. wish I had better advice to give you. This is one of those things that a lot of people struggle with (me included). At least you’re aware of it, kudos to you for that!
