What Are Some Good Tips For Getting Homework And School Work Done And Being Organized?

Well,I teach Jr. High and I used to be a Jr. High student, so I’m the girl who can help you.
If you’re unorganized, get a binder with different sections and label each section. That will keep you from losing everything. Every day, do all of your homework. If you make yourself do it for a couple of weeks, it will get to be such a habit that you’ll feel like a dud if you don’t do it, so you just automatically do it every day. (That may be a run-on, but don’t tell anyone.)
Set up little treats for yourself after you finish your homework. ie: a tv show, going to a show, game, or even just calling a boy/girlfriend. Don’t let yourself do it until you finish. Also, don’t get all bogged down with one thing. If you can’t do something, skip it and either come back to it later or get help with it the next day. You can even miss it. It’s better to miss one problem than not to do anything. I used to wrangle with one thing until I got too tired to do the rest of my homework. I would wind up not finishing anything.
All of these habits will help get your grades up. Oh, one more thing: study for tests! You’ll be amazed at how much just an hour or so of study will help. They say that students learn best by using their senses. So write stuff, say it out loud, read it into a tape recorder and play it back; anything that will help.
And the No. One Thing? Have confidence in yourself. Tell yourself you’re just as smart as anybody else and set out to prove it.
I have many students who are smart and fail. I have lots of others who may not be all that brilliant, but they try so hard that they make good grades anyway. Good Luck!!!

Use a planner religiously! Do your homework and studying everyday at the same time and in a place that allows you to concentrate. Make sure you have everything you need before you sit down to do your work. That way you are in a routine and everything gets done. If you know you have a test coming up try to study a little each night that way you only have to review the night before the test. The best thing to do is to actually try to go over what you learned in class each night but it is unrealistic for you to bring home all your books, so do the best you can. If you know you didn’t really understand something in class or if you know that it is something that is going to require a lot of studying/memorization for a test then try to go over it each night so that you won’t waste a lot of time on that one thing before the test. Make sure you ask your teachers questions when you don’t understand or even if you want to make sure you are on the same page as them.
Jr High can be difficult but if you stay on top of your school work and studying you’ll find that you’ll have more time for social activities.
If you use that planner then you’ll know when things are due and when you should start studying. Good Luck!

make a list of all your homework and tests you need to study for, and when these things are due. Post this list on your wall where you will walk by it constantly and schedule time to complete each of them, and try to finish them well ahead of time. Make the list BIG and BOLD. also get the hardest assignments done first. and for studying -for me- writing things over and over again helps me to memorize material.

fake ur homework at my school its participation grade so for at leat math you can just write down random numbers. if they ask you for the work u used to solve the problem you can fake that easy to it takes me about 30 sec to get my math done wich i do in school never got caught
