Aww, it’s a nice sentiment, Stu.
Just last weekend, I cooked my husband’s favorite dish (I don’t like it); he ate that, and I made myself something else to eat. This should count for something!
P.S. Well, the problem with it is that seeing him happy makes me happy too… So I was actually very happy to make a meal for him. It just never seems to be anything that only benefits one of us.

We’re going to rent some of “his” movies (whether I’m into them or not…and I bet not. Talledega Nights is sure to be on the list…) and order his favorite pizza even though I try not to eat is usually, and that is how we’re going to spend our night tonight. The evening will end however he prefers, of course!
He sent me flowers at work this past week out of the blue, so I figured he more than deserves a nice night that he will find relaxing.
(Okay, I admit we’re not married, but we’re pretty darn close!)

I hadn’t thought about doing anything for him. But since this is a challenge I will go the whole weekend without speaking to him UNLESS he directly ask me something. He’s always asking for silence so this weekend I’m going to give it to him.

i re-arranged my life, moving 65 miles away from my main work,(that’s almost 4 hours round trip in Chicago) picking up a 2nd job, working overnight weekends, (last time i had a day off was January 2nd) so she can be close to her parents, close to her nursing school, and make enough money for our 5 br house, 3 car garage in a decent area, adopting both of her beautiful girls from her previous marriage… (and a 2 year old that we created together) helping out with kid’s homework, wife’s difficult nursing school, stuff at home, cooking, etc etc etc. it is a miracle if i get more than 4 hours of sleep.
all that for her and our family… for us. (and believe me, she appreciates all i do for her, as i appreciate her for everything she is and does)
i’m too freakin’ tired for massages.
