What Are Your Best Tips For Getting Your Bills Organized And Paid On Time?
~~For me, it works best to put my bills as they come in, to my bill holder file. Every Friday I pay the one in the file. This way I am never late, and if you do online banking as I do, it gives you plenty of time to set them up to be paid on time.~~

I put mine on top of the computer. Before I do yahoo answers I sign on to the bank site and pay any bills.
I mark them as paid and put them in a old paper box. Once in a while I need to go back a few months in the box, but not often.
I have direct deposit into the bank account. I have overdraft protection so if a bill is due on the 3rd and I’m paid on the 5th, it gets paid. I sign onto the bank site on the 6th to make sure I got paid and there was no surprise overdraft.
Every time a bill comes in, write a check right then, put in an envelope and in the corner where the stamp goes write the date it needs to be mailed in order the get there before the due date. Keep them in order by date and check daily to see what needs to be mailed. If you do online bill pay, enter bills as the come in with the pay by date a day or 2 before the due date. The rest is automatic.
