What are your new year resolutions and are you seeking realistic goals?

I was thinking the ones other than smoking, drinking and or dieting. Perhaps on a more simplistic note, like small little areas of self improvement, job change and or steps toward leading a more meaningful life. An adjustment toward the pursuit of happiness.

You know, maybe this makes me sort of un-American, but I’ve never made a new year resolution. In fact, nobody I really am close to has ever done such a thing that I know of. Or maybe they treat it like a Christmas Wish, in that if you tell someone it won’t come true.

My goal is to graduate college and become a teacher. 2007 will be a year of huge changes for me.

I’ll give you a few on my list.

1. Accept myself the way I am before I try to change me.
2. Procrastinate less.
3. Make more of an effort to be friends with other people.
4. Stop worrying so much.
