i’m in the eight grade and i had a terrible experience in middle school. i basically have no friends and my self esteem and confidence is at an all-time low. i have a girl that i walk to classes with, but i really don’t think she considers me a friend. i sit with her and 2 other girls at lunch, and i’m always under the impression that they don’t like me. i want some more confidence, and i need a better self-esteem. any tips?

Hey sweetie, I know exactly how you feel. Grade school for me was the worst time of my like( im in college now). Listen though, try not to let what others think and say get you done. People opinions don’t matter. Just be you, and people will like you for you. You said you wanted tips on building your self esteem well first you have to love yourself. that is the most important thing. LOVE YOU. If you can love yourself that is the only thing you need!
Second, Be friendly towards others, wheher they are friendly to you or not, don’t judge and always show kindness. You will amazed at how being nice to others makes you feel. And lastly if you believe in Jesus, Pray and Pray alot. Little children can pray. All it is is talking to Jesus express your thoughts to him and tell him how you feel, and he will work it out.
