I go from being very happy to being sad and wanting to cry almost immediately. I don’t know why or what to call it. Please help. :)

Urgh. It really annoys and frustrates me to see so many people saying bi-polar. Bipolar is stages of depression and mania. And unless it’s rapid-switching bipolar, usually the switches don’t just happen immediately like that. Plus, just so everyone is clear. Happy and manic are not the same thing.
It could be a range of things to be honest.
I’d recommend keeping a journal of your moods for the next two weeks, and if you’re still having trouble, take the journal to show a doctor, they’ll be alot more help than any of us can.
Don’t just assume bipolar because of other people’s responses. Bipolar is alot more complex than switching from happy to sad, although sadly so many people get that opinion of it.

There is alot of confusion, ugh, this is MOOD SWINGS and possibly rapidly cycling Bipolar disorder but the latter is rare. Most bipolar people see a long shift, such as months, from depression sometimes to normality and then mania, all which (except the normal range) can include psychotic symptoms. How old are you? Have you looked at your diet and exercise habbits? I can be quite temperamental and depressed at times and cognitive behavioral therapy helped immensely, I would recommend this/therapy/life style changes if it is affecting your life. If you are a young adult (like myself) it is actually pretty normal, I have come to realize now that I am surprisingly less moody than my peers since I used therapy for a good year-year and a half. :) Good luck.
