What is the psychology behind acceptance and validity?
How does one come to the conclusion “I know how to tell how valid something is”. Where does that arrogance come from? Our most popular sources of information are all owned by the biggest criminals. Our Governments are basically legitimate organized crime. The Religions of the world have only lied about everything.
I am a “conspiracy theorist” and my views have been deemed invalid because my sources aren’t of the established order. My authors don’t get the coverage “acceptable” authors get. My suspicious nature of evaluating history and current events has been called immoral just because of the lack of trust in authority. What is the purpose of trusting authority anyway?

There is a healthy level of skepticism and even suspicion. Then there’s paranoia and contempt. While I often feel contempt for everything mankind has created, I have found no need for conspiracies to explain the world around me. Our world is as messed up as it is simply because we ourselves are really that messed up. We two included.
You are right. Most information we receive is manipulated and cherry picked for propagandistic purposes. But this is not being done by any single organization. There are many organizations, corporations, and individuals all serving their own interests in their own way to bring about this current state of affairs. None of them need conspire with another. $35 billion dollars per year is spent in the United States alone to manipulate its citizenry. You should look into the works of Edward Bernays and Walter Lippman for a starting point into what I refer.
We are all conditioned to accept authority from the cradle to death. That conditioning does not always sit well with all of us. Rest assured, you are not alone. But you should seek ways to turn that into an advantage for yourself. You will get nowhere by railing against the social systems that surround you. But as a free thinker, you should be seeking advantages – and thus gathering authority to yourself, for your own purposes.
