Positive, optimistic, enthusiastic.. ? Those things help but they aren’t ‘a theory’.

It’s more about efficiency.
As in, not wasting time on a method that serves no practical purpose in relevance to the solution.
A person who has a positive attitude will be more inclined to spend more time looking for the most appropriate response.
edit; i don’t know if there’s a name for it.
am not sure if its a theory. but i think this is called enthusiasm. if you are enthusiastic then you are more likely to give it your 100 percent and so do much better than some one who is not that into it.
Yeah, I think that is an assuredness that comes with the confidence… I don’t think there’s a theory title in relation to it, though.
