What Kind Of School Supplies Get You Organized?
I have really poor time management and organization skills. I’ll be going in to engineering as an undergrad and really have to improve these skills if I want to get anywhere. What kind of supplies do students use to manage their time more efficiently?

First, you really need to work on the organization. I think it’ll help with the time management. I use different notebooks for each class, that way I’m not getting distracted by english notes when I’m trying to study for math. Also, have a folder for each class. Keep things like your syllubus in there. DO NOT LOSE YOUR SYLLUBUS! It will have all of your deadlines and assignments on it. If you think you may lose it there, tape it to the wall above your desk. When you’re not using these things, keep all of them organized by sorting everything by class on a shelf. Keep your folder for math, notebook for math, and book for math all together. It’ll help you get out of the door more quickly in the morning, and there will be less chance of losing them. For the time management, I would suggest setting up a schedule of ‘study time’, ‘play time’, etc. either each day, or every other day. Make sure you get everything for school finished before you go out with your friends. If you find yourself not being able to concentrate in your room, try going to the library or another quiet place to do your work. Allocating yourself study time won’t work if you can’t bring yourself to study.

definitely get a datebook/planner to write assignments in and any extra information about them like when theyre due, how long a paper has to be etc.
