Ask all the American women who have attended Christian seminaries and theological schools and still can’t get a paying job in organized religion. It’s usually because they are women and conservative – so conservative churches won’t hire them as pastors. Even in liberal churches, there is a glass ceiling and an old boys club that limits women from rising to the top.
It’s being a woman.
