Where do you start internally in self improvement?
Ok so lately I’ve gotten myself in a humung-O rut and I feel like I’ve lost myself. I’ve lost my direction in life and I’m just really stuck inside myself. I used to write and journal everyday or whatever, but It’s proven to be too frustrating lately because I just can’t seem to get it all out of my head.
Anyways, I want to reverse the effects that this downfall has had on me and get back to the amazing state of mind that I was in before my rut. However, most of the time the reason I never succeed is because I don’t know how to begin. So where/ how do I start to change INTERNALLY.

Im proud you were writing in a journal because that helps with your thoughts but yes it is true it can get to be a pain when you seem to not be able to write it all down. If that is the case then find a quiet place in your house and think just think.. think of how you felt before this “rut” and try to remember if there have been any changes in your life. Any new stress or could be something with school or a job. Anything can just throw you off but you need to think of what started it. When you realize what bothers you find solutions. And about you not knowing how to begin to succeed it all about having a goal. If you have a passionate goal you can succeed it so well! You never know what you can do when you really focus on yourself and what would make you happy. I wish you the best of luck with changes internally. =]
Altruism. It worked for me. The satisfaction feeling is absolutely outstanding and you get what you give back in a way or another when you don’t expect it.
Other than that, you can try being more open socially, new activities and hobbies and finally: stop worrying about how others see you. Just be how you want the world to be and stop worry about physical appearance.
I think I think I may have had the same thing happen to me. What I did is created many to do lists day to day and stuck to those as best as i could. I also started getting to the gym more than just once a month and changed my eating habits (NO FAST FOOD). After the second week of working out everyday things started feeling better externally and internally. I am telling you man. Get in shape and you will feel amazing!
