Why am I jealous of others fortunes and can’t truly be happy for them?

Not really, everyone gets jealous at times. Everyone thinks that money will end up solving everything and bring happiness. Now say you did have money, what would you do with it? Would buying what you want really make you that happy, or will it be good for a day or two then you’ll be bored with it? It happens often that people chose money over relationships and find that having money doesn’t necessarily mean your happy.

It’s normal.. Just try to not do it too much..

If you’re being truly honest, then yes, I think you’re selfish. But I think if you recognize it within yourself, you’d like to change and that’s such a great step in the right direction. But I don’t think you’re cruel.

Everyone wants attention from their parents so you’re totally OK in that area. At times when something DOES go your way, and you’re being congratulated for a good grade, a job well done, or whatever…and you’re feeling really good because of the praise – remember that feeling! When something great happens to your sister, remember how good it felt and pass the good will on to her and the most amazing thing will happen to you……You’ll feel even better! Some of the very best satisfaction you can feel is seeing someone else’s face light up through YOUR kindness.
