Why is it that some people have more motivation than others?
In my own case for example have seen that it isnt how bright/dumb you are that really counts in job/college success, its motivation. But, why is it more difficult for some people to crave success and simply put their noses to the grind and work? And others myself included find it easy to slack off?

This is a good question. I noticed in college that when I sat in front and paid attention and actually did the assignments with a little enthusiasm I did really well in the class and enjoyed it. When I, for some reason or other, sat in the back and didn’t focus and even began to slack off I would start to “hate” the class and the teacher. Sometimes I think motivation is just habit and it’s what we learn from our parents about achieving – when we’re very young we all want to please our parents so we learn what they expect from us. But I think you can learn motivation on your own just by noticing what works and what doesn’t and changing your specific behaviors.
You know that is a good question. I often wondered why people have more passion for one thing then I do in my entire being. I was never good at anything really? In school I was an idiot. I hung out with all the wrong people. Shoot! even the wrong people did better then me. I always loved music. But never did I master any instrument. And I used to dream of playing for audiences. But I always lacked the Passion that would motivate me.
Ummmm……I was gonna answer this question, but now I don’t feel like it.
