Comments on why it is important to promote positive attitudes toward literature with young children and give two examples?
Let us face it, people who do not read books in our civilization, unless they are sports heroes, do not get very far along in life.
If kids get some positive attitude to books and reading in general (finish this sentence)….
Thomas Edison didn´t finish school, but he loved to read.
The better schools have the best libraries and their students go further.
If children read books they learn to be articulate.
And they get more phantasy than the stupid tv watchers, that´s very important for their development and creating of aims.
They learn the different behaviors of people.
But it´s like a drug, if a child reads too much, like many girls, they start to live in a dreamworld, they want the environment to be a fairy tail like the books they read. If they become adult the reality depress them and they don´t wanna be adult, because the childish dreamworld was so beautiful and peaceful. It´s very important that children have a link to reality. Often reading might be an escape, they cloisters themself.
