ha ha I just realised I left a tip at my barbers in the ‘we wish all our staff a merry Xmas and happy new year box’ – problem is he’s Jewish!!

If you wish. You should see the crowds in Beijing and other parts of China celebrating it. They had a big gala in Guanzhou which was broadcast in 6 languages. They will also be celebrating Valentine’s Day on Feb 14th. I know the Chinese to be very tolerant and as long as you do not try to insult them, they will accept your greeting. Even a mazel tov!

Not at all.
China celebrates both. January 1st is a national public holiday in China.

No – if they’re living here, why not? There’s no offence intended, is there? I wished my bosses (Chinese) a “Happy New Year when it comes” the other night and believe it or not, I’ve STILL got my job!

These days farting in a gale force wind without apologizing is politically incorrect! The common man or woman can’t do anything without the self-righteous of the new morality coming down on us.

No, my local Chinese takeaway has been handing out free ( normal, what dya call them? Gregorian? Non Chinese?) calendars for weeks. I have 34.
Not that I order a lot of take outs or anything.

Your Chinese neighbor who lives in the United States probably celebrates New Years the same day you do because he doesn’t live in China. Think about it.

What the hell is wrong with you people. You think your americans are the only one that celebrates new years. You are not an american it use to be a vote for all powerfull people now what have to vote for white people. Just because bush dont want to be a racest. Yes tell your neighbors happy new years. Your drinking their beer any way.
